On the south side of Chennai city, India, cruising down to East Coast Roda towards Mahbalipuram, you will come across a village name Kovalam (not the Kerala one)
We gave it the name "Covelong Point" which is the "British" name and one of the most beautiful surf point in the bay of Bengal.
What started as a true friendship between myself and local fisherman grew in 15 years to be the leading surf/social movement in India, the largest Surf School in India and one of a kind festivals if "SURF, MUSIC & YOGA" in Asia
The surfing is blooming and Murthy, my friend and guru is welcoming with a huge smile and knowledge.
